ValleyWatch was formed in 1996 to install and monitor CCTV for The Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead, an estate that spans 750 acres.

Approximately 600 businesses are based on the Team Valley, including Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Distribution. It has been estimated that 18,000 people work or visit the area during the day with 12,000 vehicles in the same period.

The ValleyWatch Membership is open to all businesses trading from the estate for an annual graduated fee, based on the rateable value of the premises they occupy.

A network of 34 CCTV cameras is in continuous operation - these pictures are transmitted to the control room by a fibre optic network, where they are recorded digitally and monitored by a team of pro-active operatives.

Additionally, a 24 hour patrol covers the estate to provide key holding, alarm response and opening/closing services.

We are committed to providing a quality service. Our company accreditations include ISO 9001:2000 and BS8418, we are also registered under the data protection act. All security officers and officials are licensed by the security Industry Authority.
